Switching mosques sticks
- Choosing another mosque no longer snaps back. A device that had once been added as a screen kept pulling itself back to that screen’s mosque; now it only follows the screen list when a manager actually moves it.Fix
- The mosque list no longer redraws under your finger during live updates, so every tap counts.Fix
- Shared links that name a mosque follow your switch, so reloading keeps the mosque you chose.
No Jumu’ah? No problem
- Jumu’ah switch. Mosques that don’t hold Jumu’ah can turn it off in Prayer & Iqamah times. Fridays then show a normal Dhuhr with its usual Iqamah — on screens, phones, Catch a Salah and the Iqamah pause.New
- Editors always find their tools. The Manage card, the role button and the menu’s Manage shortcuts now appear even when the screen is showing a different mosque — tapping one opens yours.Fix
- Settings → Edit mosque offers a quick “Manage …” button for each mosque you look after.

A lighter footer
- The Zirwos logo at the bottom of the screen is a little smaller, so it sits more quietly beside PrayerIQ.
Everything you manage, one tap away
- Manage hub. One screen with every tool for your mosque — prayer & Iqamah times, announcements, urgent alert, Live, screens, prayer mode, sleep, giving, Ramadan, and (for owners) name, look and people. It also shows what’s next, how many screens are online and what’s showing.New
- Your role is always clear. A green Manage card with an Owner, Editor or Admin badge leads the menu, and on computers a small role button sits beside the menu button.New
- On phones, You manage now leads the Home screen, with Post, Times, Screens and All tools buttons.
- Manage more than one mosque? Switch between them at the top of the hub.
- Settings → Edit mosque opens with your role and jump buttons straight to Times, Announcements, Ramadan, Location, Look and People.
- Long mosque names no longer push the badge out of the mosque list on small phones.Fix
Pages open on the first tap
- About PrayerIQ and What’s new no longer need several taps. They used to wait for a web font before appearing, so the app looked stuck.Fix
- Tapping one now shows “Opening…” right away, and extra taps are ignored.
- Both pages start loading as soon as you open the menu, so they appear almost instantly.
- Offline, the app now always opens to prayer times — never to a cached info page.Fix
Add editors by phone number
- One box for everyone. In People who can edit, type a mobile number, an email or a member’s name — PrayerIQ works out which and shows the right action.New
- Invite by phone. They accept by signing in with that number, even if they’ve never used PrayerIQ.New
- Text the invite straight from the app, with a link that opens their invitation. Email, Share and Copy work too.
- Pick someone from your contacts on Android, and add an optional name so invites are easy to recognise.
- Owner, editors and pending invites now show as a clear list; removing an editor asks you to confirm.
Get the app, any time
- Get app now sits near the top of the menu and never disappears on phones. Before, tapping “Not now” — or installing once — hid every install option.Fix
- On computers, Get app appears whenever the browser can install PrayerIQ.
Phone sign-in, done properly
- Sign in with a texted code is back, following Firebase’s full setup: an invisible security check, with an “I’m not a robot” box if Google needs one.New
- Texts and the security check use your phone’s language.
- A clear note that your number goes to Google to deliver the code and stop spam.
- Plain-language messages if texting isn’t available yet, isn’t switched on for your country, or the check fails.Fix
Clearer sign-in
- Create an account, right up front. The sign-in screen now offers Continue with Google, Sign in with email, and Create an account with email — no more hunting for the create option.Fix
- Microsoft and phone sign-in are hidden until they’re switched on for PrayerIQ, so no one taps an option that can’t work.Fix

Device details, a new Help, and this page
- Know what each screen is. Screen rows now show the device — Raspberry Pi, Fire TV, Google TV, Samsung, LG, PC — with browser, memory, resolution, rotation and performance mode.New
- Help & how-to, rewritten. Twelve short guides that match the app today, with fresh screenshots.
- New features page. Simpler, quieter, and up to date.
- Clear version numbers. Versions are now the release date (year.month.day, plus .2, .3… for later releases that day), with this page to explain each one.New
Screens that add themselves
- No more codes. Open your masjid’s TV link on any screen and it joins your list by itself as Screen 1, 2, 3…New
- Identify. Flash every screen’s number — or just one — to match screens to rooms.New
- The 6-digit code still works, tucked under “Have a 6-digit code?”, and scanning a TV’s QR code fills it in.
YouTube Live
- Go live on chosen screens. Paste your channel once, pick All screens or specific rooms, choose sound and an automatic stop time.New
- Go live from the menu. One tap under Manage; it turns red while you’re live.
- End it discreetly. A small “Live · End” button follows the phone that started it. Managers at a screen get a hidden End button.
- The Mosques item in the phone app’s menu now opens your mosque list.Fix
Quiet at Iqamah, and cleaner menus
- Prayer times stay up around Iqamah. Slides pause from 5 minutes before each Iqamah until 15 after, adjustable or off.New
- Settings on phones open as a simple list, then the section, with a back button.
- Every menu checked at ten screen sizes: no more overlapping buttons, bigger tap targets, wrapping tabs.Fix
- The prayer-time editor’s + and − buttons no longer overlap on phones.Fix
- The phone app always uses full visual effects.Fix
Medium mode for the Raspberry Pi
- Medium mode (
?medium=1) keeps the look and animations but drops the heaviest effects — made for the Raspberry Pi 3.New
- A small “Updated” time in the footer shows when a screen last received new data.
- The divider between the PrayerIQ and Zirwos logos shows in every mode.Fix

Fitting, rotation and a faster Raspberry Pi
- Rotate from the address. Add
rot=90, 180 or 270 to a screen’s link; removing it returns the screen to normal.New
- Faster on the Raspberry Pi. Far less redrawing every second, and a smoother progress bar.Fix
- The footer’s method and help text shrinks to sit beside the logos on small or low-resolution screens.Fix
- Four-digit times (like 10:45) shrink to fit instead of overlapping, on every screen and font.Fix
Khutbah times and calmer editing
- Iqamah or Khutbah. Choose whether your Jumu’ah times are the Iqamah or the Khutbah; screens and prayer mode label them correctly.New
- Panels no longer flash or replay their animation every time you change a setting.Fix
- The Khutbah/Iqamah switch now changes the setting instead of reloading the panel.Fix
Donations and two Jumu’ahs
- Ways to give. Add Zelle, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, card or other links. Each mosque gets a giving page, and donation slides show a QR code and an optional goal. Money goes straight to the mosque.New
- Two Jumu’ahs, and the option to show Jumu’ah times every day, not just Fridays.New

Prayer times where you are
- No mosque needed. “Prayer times where I am” uses your location, with its own address:
/local.New
- Request a mosque without signing in.New
- Phone app: the bottom bar sits correctly on iPhone, Catch a Salah gets a running icon, and the menu is grouped into clear sections.Fix
Weather, moon and the Raspberry Pi
- Weather and moon phase under the clock, from free open sources — no keys or subscriptions.New
- Low-power mode (
?lite=1) for older devices, and TV links that skip pairing.New
- Hijri and regular dates take turns every 30 seconds, so the header stays calm.
- The first features page.New
Digital signage
- Screens & signage. Pair a TV with a 6-digit code, name it, see if it’s online and reload it from your phone.New
- Announcements & slides in one list: each item can show beside the clock, as a full-screen slide, or both, on its own schedule.New
- Prayer mode, urgent alerts and overnight sleep for every screen at once.New
- Fluid, lightweight transitions between slides and prayer times, and simple screen-timing controls.
- The PrayerIQ logo now sits beside Zirwos at the bottom of the screen.
Help, Catch a Salah and the phone app
- Catch a Salah. Find the next Iqamah you can still reach, driving or walking, with when to leave.New
- Prayer & Iqamah times editor: quick − / + for adhan and Iqamah, “after adhan” or fixed times.New
- Help & how-to: step-by-step guides with screenshots for every kind of TV.New
- Phone app with a bottom bar: Home, Times, Catch, Map and More.New
- Exact street-address search for placing a mosque precisely.

PrayerIQ on every device
- A home screen for phones: follow your mosques and see their next prayer at a glance. Install it on your home screen like an app.New
- Mosque map and a redesigned mosque picker with search, favorites and roles.New
- Light and dark mode.New
- Put it on your website with an embed code, and short, easy links for typing on a TV.New
- Address search sets the mosque’s location and prayer times, with most US metro areas built in.
- Automatic updates for every screen, and a small version number on screen for troubleshooting.
- Screen edges glow to cue the Iqamah, about 45 seconds before and after.
- Option to hide the clock’s seconds; adhan/Iqamah labels laid out for landscape and portrait.
- A soft loading screen with the logo, the name Zirwos PrayerIQ, and a home at prayeriq.zirwos.com.
- Support PrayerIQ: always free and ad-free, with an optional way to donate.
- Sign-in and the menu redesigned; layouts scale cleanly to any screen size and rotation.
